"The Super Undoc Rises" : A Short by Wil Prada

If there was a super heroe who could save undocumented folks in America, this would be what some of their daily struggles would look like.

Dreamer Wil Prada produced this video with the help and participation of undocumented actors and allies. The Obama administration has deported more than 1.7 million people to date, of which more than 70% haven’t committed any crime.   Being in the immigrant rights movement provides immunity from deportation for some immigrants due to advocacy efforts, but the majority of immigrants are still ripped apart from their families.

About Wil' Prada

Wil’ Prada is an undocumented Peruvian immigrant rights film maker that has lived in Los Angeles since he was 7 years old. He became a socially conscious organizer when he found the undocumented student organization, IDEAS at UCLA.  He is now an intern at SOUL (School of Unity and Liberation) where he is developing his filming skills, learning about systems of oppression, and figuring out how he can be an effective artist and organizer in the immigrant rights movement.
